Dr. Mohan is a Faculty Public Health Researcher and a member of the Institutional Review Board of the organization since its inception. Having started schooling from Vijayawada, he attained his Master’s and PhD degree in Medical Biochemistry. He has acquired various certifications like Medical & Health Sciences Education (CIMHSE) from The University of Hong Kong; Post Graduate Diploma in Public Health Informatics (PGDPHI); Master of Health Professions Education (MHPE); Post Graduate Diploma in Public Health Nutrition (PGDPHN); Postgraduate Diploma in Health Professions Education (PGDHPE).
He is an active fellow and life member of various professional societies at national and international level. He is a Fellow of prestigious Royal Society of Chemistry, The Linnean Society of London, UK and He was the recipient of “Young Investigator Award” at Hong Kong – Shanghai International Liver Congress, Hong Kong, International Union of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (IUBMB) – Young Scientist award for his outstanding contributions and research excellence. He was awarded the prestigious “Chartered Scientist” qualification, which represents a single chartered mark for all scientists, recognizing high levels of professionalism and competence in science, by “The Science Council” and “The Royal Society of Chemistry”.
Currently, he is serving as the Vice Principal and Professor of Biochemistry, Head of Department of Clinical Skills & Simulation, at Panimalar Medical College Hospital & Research Institute, Chennai.
