Goals
My name is Bhagyashree and currently I am in 2nd semester of MPH, doing specialization in Health Policy. In next one year I see myself successfully completing my degree with essential skills to start working in renowned public health organization. My short-term goal is to excel my knowledge and develop my skills and gain experience in managing public health issues and programs. I also want to do as many researches possible and bring out the actual and growing public health issues as wells as the challenges of program implementation. This way I can contribute to evidence-based policy making. Over the next few years, I want to build a good team and widen my social and professional connections.
In the next three year I see myself working in national think tanks as a policy maker and formulate evidence informed health policy. As my special interest lies in mental health and problems faced by abandon children and elderly, I would like work specially in these areas and help uplift their quality of living. I also want to open a NGO for the people in need and make them self-sufficient. Having my background in physical therapy I want to spread the awareness to uneducated people about the importance of physical fitness and ways to stay fit and avoid the occurrence of costly non communicable disease. I also want to work with international organization and highlight the problems of underprivileged people and help draining resources to target social determinants of health (water and sanitation). My main aim is to find innovative solution to public health problem and give people a healthier and happier life.
