As a PhD Fellow
I always aspired to work as an individual or a team member to contribute significantly to the field of Public Health and Community Nutrition. After going through the FHTS website, I found a virtual mentor in Dr. Ashish Joshi. His two guides namely The Joshi Guide for creating Global Solutions and another named as Sustainable Development with the SMAART framework created a platform for me to transform my vision into an innovative idea. I was inspired by the SMAART framework model patent by Dr. Ashish Joshi which provides a platform to process the population health data in a meaningful and contextually relevant format. I truly believe that this would help me to understand the burden of all form of malnutrition in a better way and will act as a catalyst which will offer an important point for action and intervention to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals of ending all forms of malnutrition. (SDG-2)
I am grateful to FHTS which in collaboration with DIT University has come up with PhD program in Population Health Informatics as it has provided me with an exceptional opportunity to pursue my research study in the field of Nutrition Informatics which will help me to acquire more skills and expertise under the guidance and mentorship of Dr. Ashish Joshi.
