I am basically from West Bengal. I have completed my B.Sc. in Nursing from KIIT university, Bhubaneswar. Then I have worked as a clinical instructor in Neotia Academy of Nursing, Kolkata. After working for 7 months, I joined Prasanna School of Public Health, Manipal Academy Higher Education to pursue my masters degree in public health.

Highest Education: B.Sc., Nursing - Kalinga institute of nursing sciences

Date of Joining: June 1, 2020

Date Of Completion: June 30, 2020

The future is uncertain, but it is important to develop a career. After completion of my nursing degree, I chose public health in the hope to improve the quality of life of the people and moreover careers in public health go well beyond working in neighbourhood clinics and promoting healthy living initiatives. Public health helped me to improve my ability to understand much more about health and evolution of health care delivery systems. I opted for health policy as my specialization subject. Then after gradual classes and gathering much information from different articles, evidences and of course with the help of our professors, I decided to promote and encourage healthy behaviours. By keeping the current situation in mind, I don’t think it’s would be not easy to work as per the plan but may be by the next one year, I am hoping to submit my thesis and start working for the goal by joining any institution or organisation. Although, I do not know enough about different organisations but I would like to try working abroad and explore more. I will work really hard to accomplish it.
Now if it comes to the future plan about the next three years, then it is very hard to say about it from now. But, to acknowledge my goal I may be continue working with any organisation or will be pursuing my academic career. My long-term goal would be becoming a good public health personnel who left a positive impression in people’s healthy life.

INSPIRE Virtual Experiential Learning Program - EVALUATION MATRIX

Time management, and proper work presentation.

I would recommend INSPIRE program to others.

Virtual Internship program from Foundation of health Technology and Society, New Delhi is one of the best and growing organisation in India.
The main focus of this internship program was to enhance the public speaking skills, writing skills and provide equitable work distribution among the interns with applicability, accountability and feasibility. This Organisations is working on various projects with collaboration with ICMR and have a very active and supportive team.

Therefore, I got the exposure of working on CoVid 19 dashboard through SMAART RAPID tracker designed by the FHTS team itself. Hence this virtual internship program helped me a lot during this pandemic situation and added some extra cheese toppings on my curriculum vitae.
