Goals

In the next upcoming year, I would complete my Post graduation in MPH, so I want a nice decent Job with at least 80,000-90,000 pay per month and mostly in the field of Environment. I would be happy to get field work rather than desk job.
In the next three years, I would like to have at least done some research work. I would like to work with organization with some national credibility. Also, by that time I want to get admission for my PhD, in a renowned university, if I would may say Johns Hopkins would be best. I also want to get skills on epidemiology.

  • I gained more confidence while facing camera. Now, I can more efficiently converse people virtually and even in person.

  • Because of the exams didn’t get the assignment of Blog.

  • I learned history of that country and also how country’s culture and political condition can severely affect the health of the people. And also, I learned to present precise information in the limited number of slides.

  • 1. I read about the history of that country.
    2. Gathered all the demographic indices of the country.
    3. Checked out their official website for their Public Health System.
    4. Read 4-5 articles for the loopholes in their health system.
    5. Also, read some articles on how they can improve their health system.

  • Now, I know which official International website to visit for the country’s profile and their demographic data.

Testimonial

I am Oshina Jain, a MPH student from Indian Institute of Public Health, Gandhinagar. I have joined a Virtual Internship program by FHTS in the month of May.
I got the assignment to present the Health system of Afghanistan and it was pretty much good as Dr. Ashish gave individual attention to all our presentations and told the pros and cons of our presentations. Through this assignment, I also learn to present the meaningful information in less number of slides. One thing which bugged me was that meeting were very long for like 5-6 hours and as I am a student, it was very difficult for me invest this amount of time in a particular thing when simultaneously my 2nd semester classes were going on. Next assignment I got was to track the Policies and Advisories of particular countries. It was kind of hectic as I have to gather information from all the legit sources and then extract the meaningful information and then have to organize it a systematic manner. Overall my experience was satisfactory.
