Hi, my name is Sakshi. I am post graduate in Nutrition & Dietetics (specialization in Public health nutrition). I have 3 years of experience in the field of clinical nutrition. In FHTS, I am appointed as a Public health intern. This was my first experience in Public health. I have the necessary academic background to be a competent contributor to the Research team. Working with FHTS will directly complement my career as I plan to pursue a Doctoral degree in this field in the future.

Hi, my name is Sakshi. I am post graduate in Nutrition & Dietetics (specialization in Public health nutrition). I have 3 years of experience in the field of clinical nutrition. I always have interest in the Research field and want to work for the betterment of the community. I have the necessary academic background to be a competent contributor to the Research team. Working with FHTS will directly complement my career as I plan to pursue a Doctoral degree in this field in the future. I’m hoping that in the next few years, I’ll work with WHO/UNICEF/GAIN/PHFI/MoHFM.

What were your goals at the time of internship?

I wanted to explore myself in the field of research work and wanted to upgrade my knowledge and skill in the research area, after performing various tasks during my internship period, I gained knowledge and became confident with the skills required for writing a good research. The goal with which I joined this organization has been accomplished. The goal of learning professional writing skills required in the research area has been accomplished with the help of the FHTS team.

Doing heath camps and collecting data, making it organized, making sheets and updating data, etc.

FHTS is a good atmosphere for public health students and researchers. I got a lot of exposure at FHTS. It's a platform to convert theoretical knowledge into practical-level application. It was a good experience in my lifetime. I achieved a lot of knowledge from FHTS through urban slum visits, health camps, health education, and research work like data collection, data organization, etc. INSPIRE is an outreach program for all public health ambitious students.
