Sayani Das is presently doing her Ph.D. in Biological Anthropology from Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, India. Her doctoral research work is focused on elderly health among the rural elderly population of West Bengal. She also completed her M.Phil. in Anthropology from the University of Delhi, Delhi. Sayani is passionate to increase health awareness and improve the quality of life of the elderly population.

Goals
I will complete my doctoral research work by the next year. So, I probably want to be a research coordinator or research officer of some health organization, or maybe a non-medical research scientist in the Indian Council of Medical Research.
I want to be a part of applied research for the betterment of the vulnerable groups in the different areas of India. My aim is to fill the research gaps by addressing lurking problems of India. So, I will try to use my next three years to achieve my goals by enhancing my skills, experiences, and capabilities in the area of public health.
