Goals

I am Dr Sudhamshi Beeram from Hyderabad, India. I am currently pursuing my Master’s of Public Health from Manipal Academy of Higher Education. As a person, I love to confront challenges head-on as this offers me trenchant insights. Since childhood, the thought of becoming stagnant repulses me and I have been ambitious for a long time. Through this sheer determination and will power, I stood as the Gold medalist from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka during my Undergraduate period. Within a year, I see myself graduate with a Public Health degree coupled with experience of at least three internships from renowned Public Health organizations. Working for the United Nations Organization has been my goal ever since I decided to be in the field of healthcare. Knowing more than the next person has become a major competitive advantage in every industry. Therefore, I will strive hard to upgrade my skills, experience and resume to match the requirements to arrive at my goal.
Within the next 3 years, I envision myself working in the team of Global leadership for one of the headquarters of the United Nations Organization I aim to be the best at any role I am assigned to within the organization. A road map in order to reach that position within the least time period is critical. Hence, I want to be committed and grow throughout my journey of work and expand boundaries.
I sorted the career ground plan into four major parts:
1. Public health degree and Internships (2021) + Learning one of the official languages of UNO- French
2. Working as a Surveillance Medical Officer/ contractual arrangement at WHO for an year (2021-2022)
3. Applying for temporary job openings or appointments at INSPIRA (2022-2023) and Looking out for consultant or individual contractor jobs at duty stations and various countries
4. Entry level professional P2 level (2023-2024)

Testimonial

The experience of a 1 month internship at FHTS helped me understand the importance of diversity in an organization. The team members and interns belonged to different educational backgrounds brought in inputs and contributed to knowledge other than only Public health.

With the rising demand for digital health, learning health analytics and relevant skills to work on digital platforms such as SMAART RAPIDTracker team is essential. With a short experience from FHTS, I aim to help organizations to develop and scale digital technologies, and make better use of better data. The tasks involved during internship also gave me an insight into public health policies. Research and working on Public health systems of different countries helped me to gain a broader knowledge of Global health.
