Goals

In the next one year…
Professionally, I see myself in an organization where I could get an opportunity to utilize the education that I have gained and will be acquiring in the coming years. I want to work on my technical, presentation and interpersonal skills. I want to understand the organization and work culture which will help me grow professionally.
Personally, I see myself coming out of this pandemic situation and become more aware as a person. I want to go on a vacation financed through my salary. I feel travelling and food of different places helps a person to learn the culture of new places which is one of my hobbies along with that I want to pursue my passion for poetry writing. Therefore, I want to fulfill my wishes after I get settled and the world gets free from the epidemic.

In the next three years…
I do not have a precise role in mind, but my aim over the next three years is to be at a place where I can make a difference. Career advancement is significant to me, so I am looking forward to taking on more responsibilities and gaining more industry awareness in the process. I see myself pursuing a doctorate degree in the public health domain and actively involved in the spheres of health policy and research. Moreover, after getting acquainted with knowledge, skills and experience in my domain, I want to help the aspiring professionals by offering internships or workshops and continue to impart and gain knowledge and being actively involved in my career as a public health professional.

  • I learnt how to convey my thoughts to the audience and gained confidence in me which was somehow lacking.

  • I learnt how to collect data about the COVID 19 trends in the country allotted to me by learning about the various policies and advisories issued by the country to tackle COVID 19. This really helped me in gaining insights regarding the way the countries public health system is working during the pandemic situation.

  • I learnt about how the public health system of that particular country is working and what steps that country is taking to combat the pandemic to get an overall picture so that the learnings can be incorporated in our own country.

  • 1. To work on developing technology:
    2. That can be availed by everyone and is accessible to all
    3. That is data driven and provides evidence-based solutions
    4. That provides tailored made solutions for all segments of people
    5. That provides a tool for formulating future policies and programmes
    6. That can act as a guide for the academicians and researchers

  • I learnt about how to find relevant data from authentic websites and how identify policy and advisory by reading the various guidelines issued by the government. I learnt about data collection, compilation, summarizing and synthesizing data that is relevant to my area of study.

INSPIRE Virtual Experiential Learning Program - EVALUATION MATRIX

My goal was to get exposure in the field of public health. Initially I was not sure about the virtual platform for doing internship as it was my first virtual internship. But as I started working on the assignments, I felt that this platform really helped me learn a lot many things apart from public health despite the pandemic situation. I am really glad that I decided to pursue this internship and I am looking forward to working with FHTS again in the future.

From learning about the public health systems of the countries to working on the COVID 19 tracker to making presentations and YouTube video. All these tasks and assignments really helped me learn a lot.

I strongly recommend INSPIRE program to others.

Experience with INSPIRE Program

Testimonial

Working with Foundation of Healthcare Technology has really been a great learning experience for me. From learning about presentation making, public health systems of the country, working on SMAART Rapid Tracker and learning about how data can be used to guide informed decision making and participating in engaging discussions. All these exercises helped me learn many new aspects. Along with that the mentorship from Dr. Ashish Joshi and support from FHTS team helped me accomplish all the tasks on time. Thank you so much FHTS for this opportunity.
