l being an Ayurvedic doctor, I’ve worked in both PHC and a sub-district rural hospital as an Intern. I’ve also worked for 15 months as a Medical Data Analyst facilitating data required for Cancer research. Having varied experiences in both government and private sector, I completely align with both the mission and vision of FHTS to translate research into practice through the use of technology-based solutions and to improve population outcomes through innovative practices using informatics applications. Also, with me currently pursuing my Master of Public Health (MPH), the values of providing proper education, striving towards availability, accessibility, affordability and building a sustainable community are already instilled in me. With this internship, I intend to sharpen my skills and attributes to achieve both organizational goals and the betterment of society.

  • I learned how to confidently articulate my thoughts into words in front of the camera. I also learned to control my nervousness.

  • I learned how to research a particular topic to gather information for the blog. I learned how to structure a blog into various components like an introduction, body, conclusion, etc. I also learned how to write the information in a presentable manner according to the number of words required.

  • I learned about the public health system of that country and how different it is from the public health system of India. I learned about basic presentation skills as well.

Testimonial

My experience working as a Public Health Intern at FHTS was simply amazing. I thought it was important to have a hands-on experience along with my college curriculum and FHTS was the perfect door for me to knock on. I’m extremely grateful to FHTS for having an online internship program for students all over the world. I would also like to thank Dr. Ashish Joshi and the entire team at FHTS for conducting this internship in such a smooth manner and assigning tasks that helps individuals like me to gain skills.
